Veterans Helping Veterans

Service doesn't end when the uniform comes off.

Caring Veterans of America brings veterans together to support one another, connect families with resources, provide transportation and emergency assistance, and continue serving the communities we call home.

What We Do

Local people solving real problems.

Caring Veterans of America exists to make sure veterans in our community have people they can turn to when they need assistance, information, transportation, or simply another veteran in their corner.

01

Veteran Assistance

Helping veterans and their families navigate local, state, federal, VA, and community resources.

02

Transportation

Helping veterans reach VA medical appointments and other essential services when transportation is a barrier.

03

Emergency Support

Working with veterans facing urgent housing, utility, food, medical, or household challenges.

04

Veteran Stand Downs

Community events connecting veterans with supplies, services, organizations, fellowship, and assistance.

05

Resource Navigation

Helping veterans understand where to go and who to contact when benefits or assistance become confusing.

06

Fellowship

Creating a place for veterans to remain connected, build friendships, volunteer, and continue serving.

Our Mission

Veterans taking care of veterans.

Some problems can be solved with a phone call. Others require a ride, a referral, some paperwork, a few volunteers, or somebody willing to keep making calls until the right answer is found.

Caring Veterans of America brings that network together so veterans and their families do not have to navigate difficult situations alone.

Community First

Built here. Serving here.

Our work is grounded in direct relationships with veterans, families, volunteers, service organizations, local businesses, and community partners.

We believe the strongest veteran support network is one where people know one another and are willing to pick up the phone when somebody needs help.
